Accommodation
Cilrhiw (pronounced Kil-rhee-oo) Country House.

The property is reached via a private lane just beyond the pretty village of Princes Gate, the birthplace of Wales’ multi- award-winning bottled mineral water. The house majestically resides over a valley with a mixture of formal gardens, sweeping pathways and Welsh slate terraces; all leading to the private woodland and vast acreage boasting ancient trees, gently running streams and natural waterfalls. The private meandering gated driveway leads you to an area with ample parking set next to a large wooden cabin.
Towards the front of the property, you will find a large Balboa hot tub set in its own gazebo with bar seating to one side, and, further on, a large area ideal for a fire pit.
Guests can take their pick of the many luxurious bedrooms, including three en-suite King-size rooms, one king size room within a stone’s throw of another impressive bathroom. The bedrooms are all presented to an exceptional standard, with large, upholstered headboards and matching fabrics, smart TV’s, incredibly opulent beds and Egyptian thread bed linen. Each bedroom boasts large (often double aspect) windows, beautifully presenting panoramic views over the valley. The en-suite bathrooms are all uniquely designed and fitted with top of the range showers and double sinks and vanity areas.
Local Area

Although the house is remote there is loads to do in the area. There are plenty of places to walk, castles to visit, etc. There is a nine hole golf course three miles away from the house plus another couple of courses within half-an-hour’s drive.
There is a fantastic beach at Saundersfoot, only 20 minutes drive away, and the ‘Harbour Feastival’ of street food is on there on Friday and Saturday, so that could be fun if we fancy it.

Food & Drink

We would kindly ask that you bring enough breakfasts, snacks and personal alcohol for the week!
Come Dine With Me

We will be self-catering, same as on the boats, and have chosen three Hello Fresh recipe cards (vegetarian and lactose-free). All the ingredients have been ordered and will be picked up from Tesco’s in Carmarthen as we pass through on the way to the house.
The house has two kitchens so the plan is that we will split meal preparations between us. There are no desserts planned for though, so if anyone feels inspired then please bring ingredients. :o)
There are some local shops so we can also shop for extra stuff when we’re there.
