Message from Dive Connection

Thank you for your request and your interest in our diving center and diving with us.

We do not have a fixed program for the dive sites. There are so many nice places in front of El Gouna where we only can go when we have nice weather. Blue sky and sunshine we have 95% of the year but sometimes it’s too windy to promise certain dive sites certain days. That’s why we always decide in the morning together with the captain what’s possible. Of course, we take care about the fact where our divers have been already so they do not dive every day the same place. This is also how we divide the boats.

We start around 8am in the morning and we are normally back between 4pm and 5pm. We offer daily trips including two dives. Our boats are equipped with sun deck with a shadow area, salon, kitchen, two toilets, divers’ deck, dive platform with fresh water shower. The boats have a license for 35-40 divers but we never take more then 25-30 divers per boat. We do not like crowded boats – everybody should have enough space and feel comfortable. In between the dives the crew offers a nice and fresh lunch buffet for around £6, cold and hot drinks are available for around £0.80.

The groups are small – maximum six divers per guide. We try also to divide the dive teams by their interests and capabilities.

We offer the following diving packages:

1 day diving (2 dives) cost by online booking and prepayment £72.

2 days diving (4 dives) cost by online booking and prepayment £135.

3 days diving (6 dives) cost by online booking and prepayment £192.

You also have to pay the marina and environmental tickets of £13 per person/per day on the boat.

Complete rental equipment (without diving computer) online price £24

Unfortunately, we are unable to dive the Thistlegorm because it is in the sovereign territory of Sharm el Sheikh and only the boats with safari permission are allowed to cross the Red Sea. However, we are able to offer the Rosalie Moller. The wreck has nearly same size then the Thistlegorm and its only two hours away from El Gouna with the advantage that it’s not so crowded with divers then the Thistlegorm. The price for this trip is £32 (on top of the diving package). We offer regular trips to the Rosalie Moller if the weather is ok – this means not a lot of wind. This is the reason why we don’t offer this trip only at the counter and not online.
